Phase 1 Welcome to phase 1 of your journey! Thank you for choosing Laughlin Performance & Physical Therapy to be a part of your care to better and improved physical health. While under the direct care of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) you will be provided with a personalized, one-on-one patient experience. Each appointment consists of 30-45 minutes of direct care of a DPT. Before your first appointment, you will be asked to complete your intake forms. These forms are typically emailed to you a day or two before your scheduled appointment date. If you are unable to complete these forms, we do request that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time in order to manually complete them for your file. Kansas is a direct-access state, which means that unless you have medicare (and sometimes Tricare), you do not need a doctor’s referral to be seen in our clinic. If you do have one of the listed insurances, obtaining a RX (referral) from your doctor is typically easy. Scheduling an appointment with us is also easy! Our first appointments are typically available starting at 7:30am and our last appointment of the day starts at 5:15pm.
