The Biggest Return on Investment in the Game

As I watch the stock market waiver with the news of the election, Covid-19 spikes, and pending natural disasters, I sit and wonder… what if people put as much time and effort into taking care of themselves—mainly their bodies—as they do when they try to dominate things that are far outside their control.

The way I see it, we should be putting time and effort into our bodies and our health. There is a quote from one of my favorite books, “Essentialism” by Greg McKeown. “the best asset we have for making a contribution to the world is ourselves. If we underinvest in ourselves, by that I mean invest in our minds, our bodies, and our spirits, we limit the very tool we need to make our highest contribution to the world”.

It is not until something devastating happens that we realize we have neglected and taken for granted the biggest asset in our lives. The healthier you are, the better you can weather whatever unknown storm comes your way. This coming year, we are on a mission to get people to think PROACTIVE instead of reactive. I challenge you to invest in yourself, do something that is going to make you better, stronger, more durable to handle what life will throw at you.

If you are looking for something to help in this adventure, check out our Health-Conscious Performance Therapy Program during our open enrollment period taking place the second week of December. The plan includes 1 visit/month for 12 months with your Doctor of Physical Therapy. Spots will be limited due to scheduling so if you are interested, please give us a call or email to let us know you’d like to participate. In my opinion, it is one of the absolute best investments you can do for yourself and your body.
