Make time!

Updated: Jan 15

With gyms either closing or enforcing the mask mandate and people choosing to work out from home, patients and clients are frequently requesting ideas on how to keep moving during this time. Through developing a 10-15 minute mobility and stability program you can do daily, you can keep feeling and moving well throughout the whole year!

Don’t know where to start? Schedule a movement assessment with our clinic and a Doctor of Physical Therapy can identify faulty movement patterns (pain or not) in order to tailor a program to fit your needs.

On our Facebook and Instagram accounts we are sharing 12 days of exercises that you can do with zero equipment. We are encouraging people to move their bodies, together with us, leading up to the end of the year.

Kenzie and I had the idea for 12 Days of Fitmas as a way to give people bodyweight exercises they could do at home with cues provided by Doctors of Physical Therapy. The exercises build on one another and are some great examples of possible exercises to add into your daily routine.

New Year’s Resolutions can be great, but know that you do not have to make drastic changes at one time and don’t have to "earn" enjoying treats with your loved ones. Make movement a consistent and sustainable part of your day-to-day life. If you need help getting started or have ANY questions, please reach out to us. We want to help and we want to be your partner. Reach out now!
